Keeping It Real With Bon Qui Qui (Part 1)

Bon Qui Qui has moved on to bigger and better things since her days at King Burger. The alter ego of comedian Anjelah Johnson-Reyes made her debut in 2007 as a rude fast food employee with no filter. The MADtv skit became an Internet sensation, watched by over 65 million people worldwide. Let’s not forget: “I will cut you.”

After releasing 3 songs and 2 music videos, Bon Qui Qui caught the attention of Warner Bros. Records and released a full album titled “Gold Plated Dreams” under a record deal. The recording artist took her talents to the stage, touring twice and selling out both times.

With the end of the year comes a time for reflection and the Shut Us Down singer is here to help with words of wisdom in an exclusive segment titled “What Would Bon Qui Qui Do.” In this 3-part special, she tells us how she would handle certain situations— including not getting a text message response or being interrupted (rude).
